My patients receive first rate care and service, and can feel right at home at Sanitas, where we treat everyone like family. As a nurse practitioner, a good day at work means providing professional care and making improvements in my patients’ health. I’m most comfortable speaking Spanish with my patients, but I also speak English. Escaping from the dictatorial regime in Bayamo, Cuba, I sought freedom in the United States. I wanted to achieve my goals and provide opportunity and growth for my family. I chose medicine as my career to connect with those who need help and care. There’s no better satisfaction than healing and caring for those who need it. I now live in Miami where I enjoy the city with a mix of ethnicities and cultures. I love the dynamic here–– different people, learning every day from others, and serving my community by promoting good health. When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, boating and fishing.
