I was born in Cuba and came to the United States when I was 15 years old. I truly believe each individual is born with a calling in life—a vocation. For me it was the human aspect of medicine and understanding the mystery of the human body. I was very blessed to know what I was called to do since I was a child, which has given my life meaning, purpose and joy. I want my patients to know that at Sanitas they will discover and experience a new model of healthcare with the main objective to deliver quality care, integrating professional ethics and the most respect for human values. When I take off my coat, I truly enjoy quality time with my family and appreciate every moment we have together as a family. I LOVE being a mom to my precious daughter. There is rarely a dull moment and lots of hugs, giggles and dancing. While it’s true that helping my patients is my calling in life, motherhood is my greatest achievement.
