I was born and raised in Cuba where I studied to become a Medical Doctor. I have since moved to the United States where I have dedicated my life to growing as a healthcare professional. Through my experiences, I have become an insightful and dedicated Nurse Practitioner who is an effective communicator in a culturally diverse population. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and have found that being bilingual helps me communicate better with my patients. I decided to go into medicine because it has been my biggest passion since I was a child. I have always thought that this is a challenging but rewarding career. As a Nurse Practitioner, I have been able to change lives and be the support for those that don’t have any. It’s very gratifying to know that I was able to have a positive impact on someone’s life. A good day at work means I can help as many patients as possible achieve their optimal health. It’s always a special day when I can positively impact someone’s life. When I take off my coat my absolute favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and loved ones.
