As a family nurse at Sanitas, I care for my patients as if they were family. I listen to them with respect and compassion and look out for their best interests. When I've been able to successfully treat them for their chief complaints and have solved their health problems, it's been a very good day at work. Medicine and nursing have allowed me to help others and impact lives in a unique way. To me, it's not just a profession, it's my calling. My ultimate purpose is to give back to my community by treating patients and by advocating for the Hispanic community. I grew up in Miami, but at the age of five, I immigrated with my mother and two siblings to the United States from our home in Cali, Colombia. When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my family and my fur baby. I believe every second is valuable, as tomorrow is never promised.
