As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Sanitas, I strive to provide patients with quality individualized care, and empower them to take an active role in their healthcare. My patients benefit from a committed and communicative patient-provider relationship where they are heard and where questions and concerns are always welcomed. A good day at work for me is one where my patients see and feel the improvements that they have worked for. My love for nursing, health, and wellness began in a volunteer capacity while serving in a rural community nursing home in Heredia, Costa Rica. The experience inspired me to join the medical field and make a difference in the lives of patients. Since then, I have made it my mission to provide exceptional care for patients of all demographics, focusing on primary and preventive care. I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Miami, Florida. I love this beautiful city with its flavors and diversity, and can't imagine calling anywhere else home. When I hang up my coat, my time is divided between working on my Ph.D. dissertation and enjoying my family. My favorite pastime involves packing a suitcase and traveling somewhere new with my loved ones.
