My patients at Sanitas get the best care I can provide. They’re treated with honesty and respect, and I do everything possible so they can stay healthy. It’s a good day at work when I know I’ve helped my patients improve their quality of life. Born and raised in the Cuban village of Vazquez, I came to the U.S. for freedom. Choosing to be a nurse practitioner was the career for me because I truly love patient care and am confident in my nursing skills. I speak English and Spanish but am most comfortable speaking Spanish with my patients. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family—most importantly, my wife and son. I also enjoy fishing.
