At Sanitas, my patients receive the attention and excellent care they deserve. I love listening to them and developing a relationship of mutual trust. Making a difference in people’s lives is the reason I decided to go into the medical field. It makes me feel good when a patient shares a smile and tells me they feel heard and cared for. And they can talk with me in both English and Spanish. I was born and raised in Miami, studied in Arizona and did my clinical rotation in Louisiana. My first three years of practice were in a rural, underserved area which allowed me to see rare and interesting medical cases. I was able to treat patients who didn’t have much access to adequate healthcare. I’m passionate about serving the Hispanic community since my grandparents struggled to receive medical care because of language barriers. Outside of my job, I spend quality time with those I love—family is very important to me. I also make time for yoga and exercise.
