As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I strive to meet my patient’s medical needs and expectations. I take care of my patients as if they were family. I focus on disease prevention, health promotion and education. Fluent in English and Spanish, I can better communicate with patients in our diverse community. A good day at work means I’ve helped improve the health and quality of life of my patients. It's a great day when I can positively impact someone’s life. I was born in Cuba, and raised in Venezuela. When I was 12, my family brought me to the United States so we could have a better future. I grew up in Miami and now live in nearby Davie. Since I was a child, I’ve wanted to go into medicine. While the medical field is challenging, it’s also a rewarding profession—I love that I can help improve the lives and health of others. When I take off my coat, I love spending time with my family and my golden retriever, Nala. I also love to exercise and travel.
