At Sanitas, my patients receive the best quality and compassionate care. Besides caring for everyone in the family, I like the diversity of patients and providing resolutions for various medical issues. I’m passionate about being involved in improving the health of the community and, at the same time, I think it’s important for a patient and doctor to work together so they understand that their wellness plan is a partnership. I look forward to seeing my patient's reactions when we get a positive outcome that is life changing. I decided to go to medical school because I want to help people and make a difference in their lives. After ophthalmology residency in Peru, where I grew up, I moved to the U.S. to join my family, completed a transitional year, then became a family medicine specialist. I’ve lived and practiced in Puerto Rico, Illinois, and Pennsylvania, and moved to Florida over a decade ago. On my days off, I enjoy reading, photography, traveling and spending time with my wonderful family.
