My patients at Sanitas receive great all-around care. I’m committed to their well-being and love listening to them and getting to know them. I can put many patients at ease because I can communicate in both English and Spanish. When I make a positive impact or help a patient feel more at ease with a care plan that works for them, it’s a good day at work. I was attracted to the medical field of my interest in how the human body works. And in practice, I’m able to put that knowledge to work helping patients understand their ailments and improving their health. My work as a medical interpreter has helped me deal with concerned patients who are anxiously awaiting news. Working with patients of various ethnic backgrounds, I assisted with communications between doctors and patients to help things go smoothly. On my days off, I love spending time with my family. We enjoy going for walks, hiking trails, going to the playgrounds, and biking. We look forward to movie night, with popcorn, once a week.
