I was born and raised in Cuba and moved to Miami at 16, thanks to my mother’s dream of a better future for us. Miami feels like home and family to me, and my medical training in Santo Domingo helped shape who I am—both as a doctor and as a person—surrounded by inspiring people along the way.
I deeply understand the immigrant experience—the resilience it takes and the strength found in community. I'm fluent in Spanish and believe strongly in the power of shared language and culture to build trust and connection.
I chose medicine because it blends science, service, and human connection. Growing up, I saw how compassionate care could change lives, and I knew I wanted to be part of that.
A good day at work is knowing I made a positive difference—whether by helping someone feel better or simply bringing them comfort and a smile. At Sanitas, we focus on care that’s respectful, personalized, and culturally sensitive. From me, you can expect kindness, empathy, and a commitment to truly listening.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, creating joyful moments together. I also love traveling and discovering new cultures—it helps me grow, both personally and professionally.
