As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, my patients are my priority. I treat them like family––listening and spending time with them. Being fluent in Spanish and English allows me to speak with every patient who comes here. A good day at work means I’ve provided the best care for my patients, healing and improving their health. I was born and raised in Cuba, where I graduated with academic honors and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree. I worked in Venezuela for two years as a doctor in ICU and general family medicine. In 2015, I moved to the U.S. and I’m grateful to be able to continue working in the health field, which is my passion. My goal is to be more professional and a better person each day. On my off days, I like to spend time with my family and friends, I also love reading, walking as exercise and cooking typical Cuban food—my favorite.
