At Sanitas, my patient’s well-being is my number one goal. A good day at work means I have met all my patients’ expectations and provided the best healthcare possible. I consider being bilingual very important to the medical field as we see people from a variety of different cultures who speak different languages.
I decided to go into medicine because I fell in love with it from a young age. I studied medicine in Cuba and I graduated in 1997 as a Doctor in Family Medicine. Born in Havana, Cuba, Spanish is my first language, but I am fluent in English as well and began studying English in my native country, continuing my studies in the U.S. when I moved to Miami, FL, in 2010. I earned my Nurse Practitioner License in 2020.
When I take off my coat after work, I like spending time with my family. I enjoy every minute I get to spend with them.
