I was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States in 2010. I have been living in the Miami area ever since. Spanish is my first language, but I am fluent in English as well. I started studying English in Cuba and continued my studies here in America. I consider being bilingual very important to the medical field as we see people from a wide variety of different cultures who speak different languages. I decided to go into medicine because I fell in love with it from a young age. I studied Medicina in my native country and I graduated in 1997 as a Doctor in Family Medicine. I decided to continue my career in the medical field here in the USA and got my Nurse Practitioner License in 2020. A good day at work means I have met all my patients’ expectations and provided the best health care possible. I want you to know that at Sanitas patient’s wellbeing is our number one goal. When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy every minute I get to spend with them.
