I love being a nurse practitioner at Sanitas. My job gives me the opportunity to help people have a better quality of life. A good day at work is when I see how grateful a patient is because I was able to help them heal, feel better or overcome a disease so they can enjoy a longer life. I was born in Havana, Cuba, but moved to the U.S. seeking freedom and opportunity. I now live in Florida and enjoy serving others in my community. I’m very family-oriented, and when I’m not at work, I like outdoor sports and activities like fishing, hunting, biking and hiking. I love art, painting, playing the guitar and piano, exercising, studying and reading good history books.
