At Sanitas, my patients are treated with respect and empathy, and receive personalized care. A good day at work means celebrating the small successes patients have made. For example, when a patient struggles with high blood pressure or glucose levels and they bring a log of readings that are consistently within their target range, I applaud them—it’s not easy to make and maintain the changes necessary to obtain such positive results. These positive steps lead to better overall health and wellness and deserve recognition. Born and raised in Kentucky. I’ve also lived in Ohio and Florida. I decided to become a nurse practitioner at the primary care level to help prevent the development and progression of chronic diseases at the community level. When I take off my coat, I enjoy traveling with my husband, son and dog. I also like spending time with my extended family, relaxing on my lanai and watching drama movies.
