At Sanitas, I provide specialized care for preventing and managing disease, offering excellent treatment, and ensuring healthy lifestyles. I find my job very satisfying when I’m able to reach the hearts of patients, identify with their needs, and use my knowledge to solidify and nurture trust. The reason I became a doctor extends beyond medicine. It’s being able to identify, define, diagnose, and treat disease. It’s a commitment to the health of the community, the people, and families in their environment. Being a doctor is not just a lifestyle, it involves individual development and making decisions that change a patient’s future. Born in Cuba, I grew up in a mountainous town surrounded by nature and good people. With my wife and children, I emigrated to the U.S. in 2013 in hopes of achieving greater professional and personal growth and began my studies in nursing sciences, reaching the degree of family nurse practitioner. In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family, sharing laughs and keepsake moments. I also love to cook, read or watch a good movie.
