I was born and raised in Cuba and graduated from Medical School in 2002. I have been in the medical field ever since then and moved to the United States in 2009 where I became a Family Nurse Practitioner. With the advance medical knowledge and nursing skills I have I can make valuable contributions and provide competent health care to my community. Spanish is my native language, but I am also fluent in English.
I decided to go into medicine because my disposition and demeanor are well suited for caring for others. Knowing that I can apply my personal experience in disease prevention as well as contribute to a patient’s recovery gives me a sense of personal pride which strengthens my commitment to this profession.
A good day at work means having a sense of purpose, feeling valued, and being able to enjoy the success and achievements of healthcare with my patients.
I want you to know that at Sanitas you will never forget how we make you feel like family. I will provide compassionate and ethical patient care while maintaining a healthy environment.
When I take off my coat, I enjoy traveling around the world, working out, and spending time with my family and friends.
