Passionate about empowering my patients through education, I’m able to do that at Sanitas. I like to create awareness about mental health and help my patients find the resources they need. I’m dedicated to their well-being and partner with them on their path to self-improvement. Knowing that it takes courage to enact change in their lives, I strive to create a place where they feel understood and respected. It’s a good day at work when I see my patients take steps toward achieving their health goals. Born in Colombia, I was raised in Miami, lived in Toronto and came back to Florida to complete my master’s degree. I decided on a career in counseling because I enjoy getting to know people and hearing their stories. I’m curious about human behavior, and want to instill hope when a patient is feeling helpless. When I take off my coat, I love learning so I often enroll in classes, from dancing to interior design, marketing to art appreciation and others. I love traveling and immersing myself in the local culture of the places I visit.
