As a doctor at Sanitas, I get to help patients have better health and better lives. I talk with my patients and get to know them so I can determine their best path for care. Though I prefer English, I’m happy to speak with my patients in Amharic or Tigrigna. Working as a team and ensuring patients have a good experience with improved access to quality care makes every day for me a great day. I’ve always wanted to help people. Born and educated in Ethiopia, I came to the U.S. after receiving my green card through the Diversity Visa Process. With good community connections in Ethiopia and Eritrea, I was able to help create access to good quality health care. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family.
