I was born in Cuba and came to the United States as a young adult, navigating rigorous academics and the many challenges that come with building a new life in a new country. That journey taught me resilience, and today I carry it with me into everything I do. As I like to say, si se puede.
I represent not only Latin culture but all cultures, and my passion for medicine was born from a deep curiosity about the human body and a desire to be part of the healing process.
