As a doctor at Sanitas, it’s important that I listen to what patients are telling me. They can speak freely, which helps me understand their needs, and they can trust that they’re in good hands. A good day at work is when I can relay positive results to a patient, which encourages them to continue lifestyle modifications and prescribed medications. I like to see happy patients––and a smile of thanks is a great end to a visit. A native of Miami, I was born to Jamaican parents and have a great connection to that culture. I enjoy helping people live healthy, so a career as a doctor was an easy choice for me. When I’m not working, I like to read and travel to new countries.
