I was born in the Bronx, New York, and grew up between Miami, Florida, and the Bronx until I was 18. I’m a family physician and the first in my family to graduate college and medical school. Growing up, I helped my mother manage multiple serious health conditions, which inspired me to become a doctor. I wanted to provide clear, compassionate care and be the physician my family needed.
A good day at work means my patients leave feeling heard, understood, and confident in their care plan. Whether it’s simplifying medications, spotting a hidden health concern, or helping someone make lifestyle changes, those small wins remind me why I chose Family Medicine.
At Sanitas, you’ll get whole-person care that addresses not only your physical health but also the psychosocial factors that influence your well-being. My team and I work together to make your visit smooth, focused, and easy to understand, with clear next steps before you leave.
When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two dogs, walking or biking, catching a sunset, or relaxing at home. I also produce music as “DJ Mediko,” and on quieter nights, you’ll find me enjoying a good book, movie, or giving back at community events.
