As doctor at Sanitas, my goal is to provide quality health care while also developing a bond with my patients, their families and our local community. When patients feel like they are part of a family, they feel more empowered to be actively engaged in their care. The most rewarding days at work are when I can relate to my patients on a personal level—when they feel like our relationship extends beyond their ailments, to share their life and experiences.
I loved growing up here in New Jersey because there’s everything for everyone, from cute little towns with magnificent outdoors to cityscapes, great museums and the best view of the New York City skyline across the Hudson River. I decided on medicine as a profession because caring for my community has always been the forefront of my educational and social upbringing. Medicine provides the opportunity to give back to my community while challenging me professionally.
My favorite things to do when I’m not working are visiting museums and reading a novel when it’s too cold to venture out. The world of the arts reinvigorates my passion by giving me an appreciation of something different from what I encounter in my daily life.
