I treat my patients with the highest quality of care and professionalism in my job as a nurse practitioner at Sanitas. I get to know them and treat them as family. My priority is their well-being.
I was born and raised in Colombia, studied medicine in Cuba, then returned to Colombia where I was a general practitioner for over 15 years. I became a specialist in hospital management, studied urgent care and worked for more than 15 years in the ER and other areas.
Since I was a child, I’ve known that my mission was to care for patients. I’m happy knowing that I can be useful to another person to relieve their ills or pain. Every day is an opportunity and I always give my best. I remember special moments, like when I attended my first delivery and held a newborn, and a time when I was able to resuscitate a chocking child.
In 2008, I moved to the United States seeking a better place to safely raise my family and continue my career. So when I’m not working, spending time with my family is precious to me.
