As a doctor at Sanitas, I focus on preventive care and providing my patients several services all in one place. Bilingual, English and Spanish, I hope to make my patients comfortable communicating in the language they prefer. A good day at work means my patients are getting better and are satisfied with my care. My number one priority is to see a patient's health improve. It is my greatest joy on the job.
Born in Santiago, Cuba, I moved to the U.S. in 2004. My mother and I came here to reunite with my dad who emigrated a few years before us. Since then, I have called Miami my home. I decided to go into medicine because I want to help my community. My goal is to help others heal wounds, whether physical or emotional. I completed my bachelor's degree at Florida International University and was accepted into Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton for my medical degree. I returned to Miami to complete my internal medicine residence at Palmetto General Hospital. I recently lived in Naples, FL, where I worked as a hospitalist and later as a primary care doctor for the Lee Health system.
When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending as much time with my family as possible.
