I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and except for my college years, I’ve lived here my whole life. I grew up in a hardworking family with four siblings, and those early experiences shaped my commitment to service and compassion.

I chose medicine at a young age because I saw the comfort and reassurance doctors brought to my parents. With the support of great teachers and mentors, becoming a physician felt like the right path from the start.

A good day at work is when patients engage with their care and return feeling better. The greatest satisfaction comes when a patient says, “You really listened.” That’s when I know I’ve made a difference.
