I was born in Salzburg, Austria, and grew up in Croatia, Austria, and the United States. For more than 25 years, I’ve called South Florida home. While working at Palm Springs Hospital in Hialeah, I had the opportunity to learn Spanish and immerse myself in Cuban culture. Living and working in such a diverse community has been a gift, it has given me the chance to connect with people from many backgrounds and taught me the importance of providing personalized, compassionate care.
My inspiration to become a doctor came from my grandmother. As a young girl, I helped my family care for her—making sure she went to her appointments, took her medications, and ate healthy meals. That experience showed me how meaningful it is to support someone’s health, and it sparked my lifelong commitment to helping others live healthier, fuller lives.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our three children, and our four cats. I also love cooking, gardening, shopping, and traveling.
