As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I make my patients’ health a priority and provide the best possible care for them. My best days at work are when I receive positive feedback about the care I provided and when patients feel that they were listened to, and that their health has improved because of the care plan we developed together. Seeing my patients happy and healthy, and getting a hug and a “Thank you!” is priceless.
Born and raised in New York, I left in 2006 to begin my nursing journey in Saint Kitts, U.S. Virgin Islands and the Caribbean. I completed my undergrad degree in Kentucky, then moved to Orlando and continued to develop in my nursing career. For more than 12 years, I proudly served my community as a registered nurse in acute care settings in multiple areas. I wanted to care for patients in a different way, and now as an NP, I’m able to make clinical assessments and develop treatment plans that will positively affect the well-being of patients.
When I take off my coat, my biggest enjoyment is spending time with my husband and two wonderful kids, whether it’s traveling, being on the beach or enjoying family game or movie night.
