I was born in Trinidad, Cuba, and came to the United States in 2008 in search of freedom and better opportunities. Before moving here, I worked as an internist in Cuba for several years, and I’ve always known that medicine is my calling. I chose this path because it gives me the chance to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. A good day at work is when my patients leave with a smile—feeling heard, cared for, and satisfied with the care they received. At Sanitas, I want you to know that your health matters.
