I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved here to complete my Pediatric Residency in New Jersey. West Caldwell has been home for almost three decades, as my family and extended family live there. I decided to become a physician when I was in 3rd grade. There's something about giving of yourself in the practice of medicine that drew me in! Every time I was asked “What do you want to be when you grow up...” my answer was “A doctor!” Since that early age, I have done everything in my power, with the help of my supportive family, to get to where I am today. I love being a pediatrician! I want my patients and their parents to know and feel that they are not just a number at Sanitas. The staff and I get to know them to personalize their care and make them feel like actual people. When I take off my coat, I try catching up on sleep! I also like to organize my cluttered house. I'm starting to get rid of the stuff that we have accumulated all these years. Additionally, I like to travel and do some gardening.
