At Sanitas, I strive to be a caring nurse. I listen to my patients and take a holistic approach to treating them––not just their diseases. I feel good when my patients get results. I treat them with honesty and respect, so they have the answers and information they need.
I was always interested in caring for people and the science behind it. That’s why I chose medicine as my career. In Colombia and Ecuador, I specialized in obstetrics and gynecology, and served in the medical field until I retired in 2014. I became a nurse practitioner after being in a military program dedicated to foreign-educated physicians.
I came to the U.S. seeking a better life for my family. Florida is now my home and, when I’m not working, I spend time with my kids. I also like cooking and exercising outdoors where I can enjoy nature.
