I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and came to the U.S. in search of new professional opportunities. Florida quickly became home—I love the weather, the beach, and the vibrant community of people I get to meet every day. I chose a career in medicine because of my passion for human biology and science, but even more so because I enjoy helping others. Medicine gives me the opportunity to make a difference through knowledge, compassion, and personalized care. For me, a good day at work means showing up with a positive attitude, being mindful and respectful, and providing the best care possible to each patient. I believe in staying present and not taking things personally—just focusing on being helpful and kind.
