I was born and raised in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. I migrated to this fantastic country with my family in 2015 in search of a better future. I graduated from the University of Havana as a Medical Doctor in 2001 later obtaining specialties in Family Medicine in 2004 and Ophthalmology in 2007. My native language is Spanish, but I am also fluent in English. In addition, I also learned French prior to going to work in Haiti in 2002. I decided to go into medicine because I have always felt a passion for helping others. Medicine was the perfect career that matched my personality and is an ideal way to spread my passion through my vocation. A good day at work means making a positive impact on my patients’ health. It is a great reward to make them feel better. I want you to know that at Sanitas we offer holistic services to improve our patient’s health and satisfaction. My priority is my patients and providing them with respect and high-quality care. When I take off my coat, I love to spend time with my daughter and husband. I also enjoy reading, doing sudokus, and traveling to enrich my culture.
