As an adult gerontology nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I'll do everything possible to provide the best care for my patients. I enjoy facing the health challenges each patient presents and empowering them to take control of their health. A good day at work means I can help others, which is always a rewarding experience. It's satisfying to see them leave the office with hope and know that I've made their lives better.
Born in Cuba, I moved to the United States in 2008. My interest in medicine was sparked by reading medical books with a friend when I was in high school. On campus, we would have long talks about medicine and life. I was captivated by the amazing world of bones, muscles and body parts. This was the beginning of my lifelong passion for medicine.
When I take off my coat after work, I enjoy spending time with my family and exercising to keep fit.
