I was born and raised in Cuba, where I developed my values, my sense of community, and my early passion for medicine. In recent years, I have made the United States my home, where I continued my medical training and now practice while continuing to grow professionally as a physician.
I came to the U.S. to pursue advanced medical training and to practice in a healthcare system that offers broad opportunities for learning, collaboration, and patient care. My goal has always been to combine my strong clinical foundation with the diverse resources of the U.S. healthcare system to better serve my patients.
Having trained in different healthcare environments, I bring a culturally sensitive and compassionate approach to care. I believe in building trust through listening, empathy, and clear communication. A good day at work is when my patients feel heard, supported, and more confident about their health.
