I was born and raised in Manizales, Colombia and moved to the United States when I was ten years old. I have lived in South Florida ever since and enjoy the cultural diversity that Florida provides. Getting to know people from all parts of the world is truly a privilege. I am fluent in both Spanish and English which helps me to communicate better with my patients. I decided to go into medicine because it empowers me to help others and make an impact on my community. There is a great amount of job satisfaction when your patients are thankful for the impact you have made in their lives. A good day at work is when everything moves smoothly, and our patients are content and satisfied with their care. Seeing my patient’s overall health improve always makes my day better. When I take off my coat, I love to travel. I also spend a lot of time outdoors in nature working out, reading books, and enjoying my free time at the beach.
