I was born, raised and educated in Colombia and have lived in the US since 2009. I’ve known since high school that I wanted to become a doctor, and I chose Family Medicine because it puts me in a position to help so many different kinds of patients. I enjoy interacting with my patients, young and old—getting close to them, learning about them, and showing them how they can live better and improve their own health. When I take off my lab coat and go home, I know it has been a good day if I’ve changed at least one person’s life for the better. There are lots of days like that, and I know Sanitas will give me many opportunities to change people’s lives. Everything we do is to help keep patients healthy or get them back on track. I want patients to know Sanitas will be offering healthcare as it was meant to be. That means doctors take as much time as each patient needs, and make the effort to learn about you and the factors that impact your health. When I’m not practicing medicine, I love traveling, learning about new cultures and cuisines. I’m also a huge movie fan.
