Lina Agamez
Lina is responsible for Sanitas’ operations at a national level. In addition, to managing day-to-day operations, Lina designs and implements innovative strategies and action plans to improve the quality of patient care and serve the community where the medical centers are located.
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Lina moved to the United States in 2002, inspired by her desire of joining the healthcare industry in this country. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration with a minor in Public Health from Miami, FL International University, where she earned a place on the Dean’s list for three consecutive semesters and graduated with honors. She also is a certified professional coder by the AAPC
Lina completed her Masters degree in Business Administration with a Management concentration from the University of Miami, FL and became an Associate Director of Physician Services for Jackson Health System. Her career has also included hospital-based assignments as a practice manager, office supervisor and billing liaison.
