I was born and raised in Cuba, and attended medical school in San Jose, Costa Rica. I moved to the United States in 2015 to provide my family a crucial opportunity for progress. I am fluent in both Spanish and English. I decided to go into medicine because I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism-secondary to Hashimoto’s thyroiditis when I was eleven years old. Through my experiences with this chronic medical condition and the way my doctors cared for me; I was able to develop the desire for helping others in a significant way. A good day at work means I can provide exceptional care for my patients and devote a good amount of time to everyone. I want you to know that at Sanitas, patients are our priority. To our team there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the continuity of care and relationships fostered with our patients. When I take off my coat, I love spending time with my husband and daughters. My family is my everything. We enjoy watching movies, barbequing, and going to the beach.
