Sanitas Medical Center brings eight fully bilingual medical facilities to Central Florida
ORLANDO, Florida, October 31, 2018—Sanitas Medical Center will open eight new fully bilingual medical facilities in the Orlando area to provide access to their unique personalized care model as an in-network provider to Florida Blue members in Central Florida. This expansion builds on the successful partnership that started in 2015 and currently exclusively serves more than 200,000 Florida Blue members in the South Florida and Tampa markets through a current network of 10 Sanitas locations.
This forward-looking initiative increases access for Florida Blue members to culturally relevant health care emphasizing the connection between the individual, the family and the community. The medical centers provide family primary care services, comprehensive urgent care, laboratory and diagnostic imaging services as well as educational programs in wellness and disease management.
The centers open in the evenings and weekends to ensure that patients have convenient access to care in addition to offering patients with Florida Blue health insurance the ability to chat with a doctor online or via the Sanitas Medical Center mobile app for no additional charge. Sanitas doctors will be available to address non-emergency health concerns at any time—including after hours and on the weekends.
To reduce barriers for members to access primary care, Florida Blue and Sanitas have collaborated in the design of a member/patient experience tailored to each local community, including establishing a local diverse bilingual medical team, benefit plan designs for individual and families with unlimited $0 copays for primary care doctor visits and Florida Blue onsite concierge support.

The Sanitas Medical Center locations will be located in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties. It will include two locations in east Orlando, a location in Ocoee, a location in Longwood, two locations in Kissimmee, a location in Poinciana and a location near Mall of Millenia. The centers are scheduled to be in operation before the end of the year.
