About me

As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I provide quality care to improve the health and well-being of our diverse community. Because my patients are my priority, I get to know them along with their health needs. It’s a gratifying day at work when a patient tells me how I’ve listened to them, that the treatment is working and they want to see me again. My patients can talk with me in English, Nepali and Hindi.

Born in Eastern Nepal, I grew up in nearby Dharan. My mom had a book, "What if There is No Doctor," which presented different ways to treat illness and care for people at home. Because of its strong influence on me, I decided to study nursing and became a nurse practitioner. I came to the U.S. with my husband while he pursued a PhD in physics at Boston College.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family.
