As a doctor at Sanitas, I take good care of my patients by listening to them, respecting their opinions and valuing their time. Understanding their lives and health conditions helps me connect so I can properly treat them properly. Empathy, communication, mutual trust and shared decision-making are keys to managing and treating patients successfully. It’s a good day at work when a patient meets their goals and feels good about their success. Born and raised in Accra, Ghana in West Africa, I’ve also lived in Michigan and Tennessee. I came to the U.S. for a medical residency program. I decided on a career in medicine so I could help people and make a difference in their lives––especially when they are most vulnerable. When I’m not working, I enjoy exercising. And since I was a boy, I’ve been fascinated with plane spotting––and I’m still hooked.
