I was born and raised in Cuba, where I completed medical school and developed a deep passion for community health. Working in Cuba, Honduras, and Venezuela taught me to find creative solutions for patient care with limited resources — a lesson that shaped the kind of doctor I am today. Wanting to continue my medical career, I moved to the United States, spending eight years in California before settling in Florida three years ago.
My desire to go into medicine was rooted in my own early experiences as a patient. Witnessing both the vulnerability of needing care and the impact a compassionate provider can have inspired me to make that same difference for others.
Every day at work is a great day when you truly love what you do. At Sanitas, you will receive patient-centered care focused not just on treating illness, but on prevention, education, and long-term wellness. We listen, understand your needs, and build personalized care plans for you.
Outside of work, I cherish time with my husband, kids, and pets, and find joy and peace in gardening.
