I was born and raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico and practiced Family Medicine in Puerto Rico for 17 years before moving to Florida in 2014. I earned my bachelor’s and doctorate degrees at the University of Puerto Rico. I completed my residency training in Family Medicine there as well. Though medicine is a very challenging career choice, I decided to become a doctor because the challenge also comes with the incredible satisfaction of helping patients improve their physical and mental health. I always consider it a good day when it includes helping patients improve their health. I strive to form lasting doctor-patient relationships with my patients and their families. At Sanitas I want my patients to know that we are committed to helping you improve your health and help you practice preventative strategies to better take care of your health. When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my children and go to concerts with my husband. I’m also an avid reader.
