Sanitas Medical Centers and ConnectiCare have partnered to offer a multicultural healthcare delivery model in Connecticut, mainly to serve the growing Hispanic population.

Sanitas Medical Centers are part of a multinational health business group operating in Florida and several South American countries.

Starting in late November, ConnectiCare members will have access to three new Sanitas Medical Centers in Newington, Bridgeport and Orange. The centers will offer primary care, specialty care, urgent care, walk-in care, laboratory and diagnostic imaging services, as well as health education and wellness services with extended evening and weekend hours.

Staff at the centers will speak both English and Spanish. To foster a strong and long-lasting doctor-patient relationship, appointments are scheduled so doctors can spend more time with their patients.

ConnectiCare is the only health insurance plan being accepted by the Sanitas Medical Centers, which will also serve those paying directly for healthcare services.
