At Sanitas, my goal is to make sure that all my patients receive great medical care and exceptional personal care. I want them to feel valued as a person as well as a patient. A great day at work is one where I never have to keep a patient waiting, and I have time to get to know something fun about them, such as their hobbies, pets and things they enjoy. Born and raised in Memphis, I’ve lived here since moving back for medical school. I decided med school was right for me because I’m able to help others and challenge myself intellectually every day. It’s a job where I never stop learning and it never stops surprising me. When I was four, when people asked me what I wanted to be, I said, “A doctor,” and I’ve never changed my mind. I'm usually busy with my daughter, husband, and much-loved dog, but when I do have a moment to myself, I love to read novels or practice yoga.
