Chair Yoga for Seniors

Event description

In this class, you will move through seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Finish with restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation to promote reduced stress and mental clarity. 

It allows seniors and those living with disabilities to experience the benefits of yoga without risking their safety and enjoy the moment.

A dance and gymnastics lover and practitioner as a child, began her yoga practice as physical therapy to heal a column injury, it was not until 2007 that she discovers it can become a positive influence on her environment, transforming her practice in a life purpose.

Born in Venezuela, studied Anthropology and Painting, sensitive to the arts and the exploration of the essence of humanity, through her daily practice understood that helping others discover that they can be creators of their own way, was her own path. She settled down in South Florida, USA in 2010, completed her certification as 200RYT in 2011, and received her first degree in Reiki, the same year. Continues to conduct master classes and workshops to enrich her practice and of her students. 

In her path for new options to help and contribute to the well-being of the community, in 2019 she began his work activities at SANITAS Medical Center as a Medical Assistant, and in 2021 she began his work as a Health Coach with the Chronic Care Program, and soon she join the Wellness team as a Yoga Instructor, thus reaching an integral impact on the health and well-being of Patients.
