About me

I was born in Waco, TX and grew up in the same town. I eventually attended Baylor University right there in Waco. For the last 7 years now, I have lived in Memphis Tennessee. I was lucky to work at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for a while. I have two daughters and we are very involved with the school system, our church and local sports clubs. Therefore, I’m very excited to now be practicing General Pediatrics in the community that I live in and love.

I decided to go into medicine because I love people and science. I especially love children. Growing up, my grandmother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 6 months after my grandfather died of a brain tumor. She was given only 6 months to live, but her spirit & spunk, along with an amazing medical team and her God allowed her to live another 7 years. I was inspired to put my passion into action and hope to be a tool in the Master Healer’s hands to help others have more time with their loved ones.

A good day at work means I can make a positive difference in someone’s life – to meet a need, to share the good news, to show some love, to be a friend.

I want you to know that at Sanitas they commit to ensuring all patients receive excellent medical care. You can expect your child to be treated as one of our own and that your concerns are fully heard and addressed.

When I take off my coat I enjoy decorating, working in the yard, being a Soccer Mom, visiting family in TX, playing with my dog Beau, going to the lake and serving at church.
