About me

I was born in Kabul, Afghanistan before my family fled for safety in India and later the Netherlands. We eventually settled in Los Angeles when I was nine years old. I am fluent in English, Dari, Dutch, and I am currently working on my Spanish. I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I enjoy helping others and I want to comfort not only the patient, but their family as well since illness can affect them just as much.

A good day at work for me is when I can begin to see results in a patient’s condition because of my treatment plan. I am fortunate to work at one of the premier healthcare facilities in the community and everyone here is dedicated to fulfilling their role on the team.

At Sanitas, we also focus on preventative care so patients can avoid getting sick in the future.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young children. My wife is also a physician and we both relate and support each other. I also love food, music, and fitness.
