Working at Sanitas is great. I like being one-on-one with my patients and being part of a medical team with a super positive attitude for treating patients. My good days at work are when I know a patient understands what I’m saying and I’ve been able to share my knowledge with peers. I speak English and Spanish, plus I understand and speak a good bit of French and Italian, so my patients can feel comfortable communicating with me however they prefer.
I was born in Puerto Rico, and am of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent. I decided to go into medicine because I like science and helping people. One day, I hope to volunteer to help people in need in Africa or South America.
When I’m not working, I love family time. I like to travel to understand other cultures and I enjoy sculptures and drawings. I like cooking, especially international meals, and exercising.
